DISCO MODE ELEVATOR
Installed in 2015 in an elevator at the offices of Publicis in San Francisco. Full-wall mirror panels create the effect of an infinite corridor. When the elevator doors are closed, press a button to select from Disco, Relaxing, Psychedelic, Scary, and Miscellaneous modes. The regular lighting cuts out and the ceiling panels become disco tiles as a sound system plays a random track from the current mode's playlist. This continues for the duration of the ride but as soon as the doors open, the music cuts out and the lighting returns to normal.
